Never been there but perhaps Lukla? Tenzing Airport… Gotta be a Himalayian thing…
You guessed it, it’s the Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, Nepal. Perched right up in the Himalayan mountains. It’s One seriously hairy runway, no room for error!
Many start their journey to Everest Base Camp from this airport.
How was your time there? I was offered an opportunity to go Mt. Biking over in Nepal area… My niece recently was over there for a a couple weeks…
Nepal is amazing for so so many reasons. I would and will go back in a heart beat. Hiking those mountains centered me and was very invigorating and and also humbling experience! Highly recommend it.
